Patrick McHenry lies at Lincoln County Speech
It appears that Patrick McHenry doesn't know when to hold his tongue in front of cameras. At a Lincoln GOP convention, a cameraman (possibly from the Sigmon for Congress campaign) recorded McHenry calling a solider a "two bit" because he was restricted from a green zone gym, and goes even further by lying about a death in the green zone.

Things are looking a hell of a lot better for both Steve Ivester and Daniel Johnson. Either Sigmon loses and weakens McHenry or Sigmon wins and we all get a fair fight (where we have a hell of a better chance of winning) without McHenry threatening any more individuals to support him "or else". Looks like good times on the horizon.

Thanks for posting this. It looks like Sigmon is on top of things for his primary challenge of McHenry. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Does anyone think Pat McHenry was actually up early and going to the friggin' gym? The audience sure didn't seem to be impressed by his little fairy tale.

After thinking about what you wrote, I'm pretty sure that McHenry was just sitting over here on the edge of Ft. Bragg, listening to the artillery practice. It rattles the walls some times. I'll bet that's what it was.

Baghdad Bob McHorny War Stories?
In Baghdad, two people were killed and three were wounded, including a television cameraman, during a roadside bombing in eastern Baghdad. In al-Talbiya, two people were killed and 14 more were wounded during a bombing. Three people were wounded during an IED attack at a checkpoint in Qahira. In al-Mashtal, four people were wounded during a bomb attack. Two women were killed and a man was wounded when gunmen attacked their car. Also, four Iraqi soldiers were injured during security operation that netted 31 suspects.
Also reported was a battle in the Green Zone Sports Bar and Club Gym. A MP with the 101 st Airbourne said a young small man in pink undershorts try to break into the gym at the Sports Bar at 5 AM. When press for ID, he claim to be a American Congressman who was drug and kidnapped from a Gay Club in Washington by a group of Gay terrorists and stuff on to a private aircraft charter by the Blackwater air travel and tourist corporation. He said he was gag and bag on the trip and rape repeatedly by the flight attendents on the aircraft to Baghdad. Military officals are investigation the alledged hostage story by the Congressman. In the interest of National Security, the name of the Congressman will not be release until the owners of the private gym are paid for the services that were offer to the Congressman.
