Is this right...?
From the crosstabs it looks like Moore would also win all 4 matchups if he had just slightly higher name ID.
That makes me very happy.

Either way, it looks like we're stronger.
I'm honestly not sure which candidate I want to support. Neither one impresses me much more than the other. As long as we can carry the ticket - I'll be happy. And you know - I think we've got a great shot at Lt. Gov.
Who are the Republicans running for that seat?

Are any Republicans running for LG?
I vaguely remember reading/hearing that they were running someone, but honestly don't recall. Doesn't bode well for that candidate, does it?
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
State senator Robert
State senator Robert Pittenger is running, as is former Congressional candidate (against Butterfield) Greg Dority. Our first poll showed Dority leading 16-15!
Jim Snyder, who was the GOP nominee in 2004, supposedly is also running but I have not seen any confirmation of that.
Oh..yes...Pittenger...he's the one
Pittenger is the one who was bitch slapped by Sue Myrick when she thought he was trying to take her seat from her.
Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.
Gotta love the googly search.

A Lot of Undecideds
I don't know that you can hang your hopes on this poll this far out. Most of these races are fairly close and there are a lot of undecideds. You never know what can happen in 11 months.
I still think this race leans Democrat, though, unless McCrory runs, in which case I think it's a 50/50 shot in either direction.

I don't think you can hang your hopes on any poll.
I think your hopes rest with the voters of NC, ya know? Polls can say what you want them to say, unless you read the entire methodology and questions, etc. And as for McCrory - I hadn't even heard of him before the other day when his name got mentioned here, and I had to look him up. He's not known statewide.
