Keep reading for a bit about my future...

This will be my last poll with Public Policy Polling. I have taken a new job with the Bev Perdue for Governor Campaign. I'm excited about my new opportunity, and I am going to try to stay connected with PPP and the blogging community.

Taking over my duties at PPP will be Tom Jensen. Tom has been working at the NC Sierra Club running their very successful "Cool Cities" campaign. NC now has the 4th most "Cool Cities" in the nation. He was featured in a live blogging session here at BlueNC this summer. Tom has extensive campaign experience, working for over 20 local campaigns. He is also a member of the Chapel Hill Planning Board.

Tom should pick up right where I left off. You'll keep getting great polling and analysis from PPP.

Looks like the media love-fest with Hagan

is already paying off for her.

.......................................

Good luck in your new job, Justin. I hope you'll continue to stay in touch. Especially now that you're an insider!

And congratulations to Tom J., on the new gig.

You mean name recognition or positive vibes?

I don't pay a lot of attention to the big media outlets, but as a wonky young person, six months ago without knowing anything else, I might have picked Hagan over challenger-I-don't-know on the basis of the fact that, well, I know of her, and generally approve.

Good luck Tom, Justin on the new jobs. It's a small world (well, state). :)

Good luck.

I hope you are ineffective.....

:)...nah...just kidddding.

I'm a Moore fan. We'll miss you here at Blue.

Robin Hayes lied. Nobody died, but thousands of folks lost their jobs.

Thanks :) i guess

I won't be posting anymore PPP stuff, but I am still going to be a regular.

Congratulations on your new position.

It should be an exciting campaign.

wow, 8% for Hendrix?

Good luck with Perdue. I'm supporting Moore, but I wish you and your campign the best.

Now, to the poll. How could Hendrix garner 8% of the vote this early with no campaign to speak of? Do respondents have fat fingers?

SurveyUSA (bleh!) has a new NC poll out as well that puts Hagan over Neal as well, but by a smaller margin. They also have Perdue over Moore.

8% for Hendrix

Well, He does play a mean guitar.

Left on 49

Good luck!

See if you can get them to behave, will ya? I'm sick of this race already.

Since When is Campbell Brown My Hero?

Trying to get a straight answer out of McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds.

BTW: I'm glad that Talking Points Memo posted this excerpt on Youtube, but since when does TiVo'ing something allow you to brand it with your logo? That's the Wild West...
