Pricey Harrison vlog mutual-interview from the DNC

After this morning's North Carolina Delegation breakfast, I caught up with NC Rep. Pricey Harrison. Pricey has been a great ally on two issues that are important to me: engaging young people and immigration. I started out by asking her about those issues.
This was the first vlog I taped. The audio quality is pretty poor because of the location. But it's going to be tough to find quiet spots this week!
I'm glad that Pricey is progressive on immigration, but I think we need a better answer than what she offered. We need a cohesive statement on what Democrats believe about immigrants. I'll continue looking for that over the course of the week.

It doesn't surprise me that she supports young voters.
She supports real progressive issues, which is what all "us" ; ) young idealists care about. Okay, I don't count as young anymore, dammit. That's a harsh realization!

You're right about the immigration issue. I've not seen anyone with a tight, clear and compelling approach to tackling the challenge. It's become such a polarizing issue that no one is really willing to deal with it honestly.

Rep. Harrison has been one of the Democratic leaders in the NC General Assembly on immigration. Rep. Luebke has been the lone voice for keeping the humanity in this issue.
