Russ Feingold is Looking for his next Progressive Patriot
The primary is over and it is time to move on to the next phase. We have to get our Democrats elected. This means raising money. Russ Feingold started his Progressive Patriot Fund during the 2006 cycle. Larry Kissell was in the running, but other Democrats in much larger districts were able to garner more internet votes. Let's change that this cycle.
I received a personal email from one of the fund's organizers. She contacted me through the BlueNC contact form, so this wasn't a form letter. If they are going to great length to make sure we know that Larry is on the list, we can at least vote for Larry to be Russ Feingold's next Progressive Patriot.
Some people assume that being on the DCCC's Red to Blue list is an instant money maker for a campaign. That's not true. The DCCC is not giving money directly to candidates and there are so many candidates on the list that national donors have to make a choice. Larry is working hard to elevate his campaign fundraising, but he needs our help.
Cast your vote for Larry and put him one step closer to the $5000 contribution from Senator Russ Feingold's Progressive Patriot PAC that is up for grabs. Larry has worked constantly over the past 18 months to keep his campaign going while working a full time job teaching school.
Larry is running against one of the wealthiest members of Congress. Please vote for Larry in the online competition.
If you're so inclined, you may give to Larry at this link.

As I replied to your initial comment...
VOTE OFTEN!
You can vote one time per browser session. So vote as often as you can!
Interestingly enough....
Freedom Democrats, a blog run by a group of libertarian Democrats (I have an account and post there) does a Nolan Chart rating of members of both the House and the Senate based on their votes. Last year, the ONLY Senator who was rated as "libertarian" was Russ Feingold. The next closest was John Sununu of New Hampshire. (Of course, given that the Senate is a cess pool of corporate welfare and politician fiefdomhood, it should not be a surprise that there is only one Senator with record rated "libertarian.")
Ignoring the Incumbent and Major Party Protection Act (aka, McCain-Feingold), Russ is a good guy.
Dude.
That is an....awesome?...word.
