Send-Little-Patty-Back

The Send-Little-Patty-McHenry-Back-to-Gaston-County-Before-He-Makes-a-Total-Ass-of-Himself (uh, too late) campaign is officially underway. Daniel Johnson sent out this email today:

Dear Friends,

I am excited to tell you that this morning, I filed my paperwork with the Board of Elections to officially begin my campaign to be your next representative from North Carolina's 10th Congressional District. I am excited to officially kick off this campaign to discuss the changes that we need to see in Washington.

I'm running for Congress to continue my career of public service by serving the people of the 10th District. Our region needs a leader who will do what's best for their neighbors and what's best for America. We need a leader who is part of the solution, not part of the problem.

My campaign is about doing what's best for the families of our district. In Congress I will work to cut spending, support and protect the American worker, improve our schools, and make healthcare more affordable. I want to be a leader who people can be proud of and who people can trust to do the right thing.

Support my campaign by donating today at www.danieljohnson08.com. Please forward this email along to 10 of your friends and continue to spread the word about how we can change this country.

Ready to Win,

Daniel Johnson
10th District Congressional Candidate

Not sure what kind of chance he has in this district, but I'm hopeful.

Thanks for posting

If he campaigns effectively and tells the truth without a bunch of BS and double-talk, he has a great chance, in my totally uninformed opinion.

Thanks, LoftT. This is hilarious.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
