Thought you all might be interested in this duo of sites I found. www.SorryAboutOurPresident.com almost has a thousand "apologies" and is full of both American and international opinion, some of which is really well written, some of which is just plain funny. There is a link on that site to www.NotSorryAboutOurPresident.com, the counterpart for those NOT sorry (obviously) and wishing to express that. Both of these are a revealing cross-section of the American state. Check them out if you have a sec, and add to either if you feel so inclined.

I have to laugh. Otherwise I'd cry.

Another place I hang out - a girl said 'Thank you America' right after elections. It was pretty hilarious in a not so funny kind of way.

Someone gave her some grief (read ***hat) I thanked her for her thank you. It's an international forum so ***hat was quickly spanked and put to bed.

I'm going to check those out. Especially if there's some humor in there. Lord knows I need the oxygen. Laughing is good for you.

I'm just so sorry I feel compelled to apologize when the ones who should apologize never will.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
