Call your local ABC station about the 9/11 Right Wing Smear

I'm sure that many of you have gotten emails about contacting ABC and Disney about the right-wing smear of the Clinton Administration in the 9/11 docudrama "The Path to 9/11". Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo makes a important point that petitions and calls to ABC and Disney are not going to work, but calls to the locally owned affiliates did work to against the Sinclair Broadcasting attack on John Kerry. So give your local affiliate a call.

Critics of War Encourage Enemy Aggression

Yeah, thought that would get your attention!

In our local Moore County newspaper, The Pilot, J.D. Zumwalt is a regular contributor to the opinion pages. Usually, his opinion is that "Bush is right", "Bush is a good President", "give Bush a break" and most often, "every time you protest the war in Iraq, you are giving aid and comfort to the enemy".

Today's article is no different...

In their hatred for him, the president's critics spray spittle as they accuse him of being a liar. I am still looking for anyone who can tell me what lie the president told. Members of Congress were briefed. They had the exact information the president had. It was provided by the same agencies that provided it to the president.

A visit to Freeperville

(cross-posted at The Christian Dem Home Journal)

Over at Daily Kos, we have a lot of Dem heavyweights post on a regular basis. Louise Slaughter, Paul Hackett, John Conyers, Brad Miller, Henry Waxman--even the occasional post from Ted Kennedy or Nancy Pelosi.

But I always wondered--why don't we see the same at Free Republic? How come Repubs like John Boehner, Sue Myrick, Robin Hayes, Deb Pryce, Jack Kingston, Marilyn Musgrave and the like barely drop by? Well, I got my answer when Dmsilev posted about a recent trip he made to Freeperville. There was some heavy discussion going on about a recent incident in Spain where a couple of men were removed from a UK-bound flight because they were speaking Arabic and the passengers thought they were acting suspiciously. Some of the comments there were just plain sickening.

Guilford GOP Chair: Being gay 'as natural as pedophilia'

Cross-posted from From MattHillNC.com | The Q-triad Blog

Marcus KindleyMarcus Kindley (pictured right), Chairman of the Guilford County (NC) Republican Party has hit an all-time low.

In a post on his blog, "The Chairman's Corner," Kindley compares being gay to pedophilia. Later in the post, Kindley says that our churches, the media and society have neglected to put a value on right and wrong by stressing the value of "personal decisions" stating that the same could be said for "murder, rape, sposal (sic) abuse, pedophilia, [and] incest."

Gotta love trolls

I love it when trolls come by and display their intellect for all to see. This one - a lunatic named McFly - is definitely worth showcasing.

Hah. I wish my views were so clearly defined that I had to copy and paste them off a website. How appropriate!

"Limitations on the power of government, wealth and religion"? I defy you to show me a 'liberal' who really wants to limit the power of government except as it relates to national security. Limit the power of wealth? Good luck with that. The Trilateral Commission and the Bilderburgers are firmly entrenched. You can dance around chanting, 'Hey, hey, ho, ho, rich white folks have got to go' until you cough up your larynx, but you'll never change the makeup of the global ruling elite. Limit the power of religion? You mean Christianity, right? Because 'liberlz' would rather hide in their closets than stand up to radical islam. Christianity is the only religion whose power needs to be limited. After all, anyone (any Christian that is) who believes in a moral absolute is really just trying to impose their views on you and erode your right to live by any set of standards you choose. Jihadists who plant bombs in restaurants, however, are freedom fighters trying to save us all from zionist oppression.

Know your enemies

Today's installment of Know Your Enemies focuses on a creepy little extension of the Puppetshow called The John William Pope Civitas Institute, Inc. The cast of characters is a veritable Who's Who in North Carolina Wackoland, and the boss man is non other than Jack Hawke, Art Pope's poor twin and occasional water-carrier.
