I have always been intrigued by the seemingly random nature of drug pricing and was inspired by a recent NPR story about Genentech to find a way to fill the Medicare Part D donut hole. It seems Genentech has a conundrum. It recently won approval for Lucentis, a drug to treat age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which costs $1,950 per treatment. At the same time eye doctors have been treating AMD in patients with small off-label doses of Avastin, another Genentech drug approved to treat colon cancer. The cost for the amount of Avastin used for AMD is $50 per treatment.

It's about time this arrogant slime ball who's complicity in orchestrating this symphony of shit 29% of Americans call an administration is taken to the shed for a beating.

The administration is unraveling in a spectacular slow motion explosion, a horrific captivating drama that many of us saw coming a long time ago. The true patriots of freedom, those with the courage to stand up and dissent when it was not popular will be the hero's of these past 6 years and not the paper tigers, the chicken hawk, chicken shit that wrapped themselves in our flag to promote their own agenda.

Lawmakers demand more wartime funds for vets’ health careBy Rick MazeTimes staff writerOn the eve of a House committee’s passage of a $72.4 billion wartime supplemental funding bill, about 90 members of Congress are demanding that money be included to cover veterans’ health care costs.In a March 6 letter organized by Reps. John T. Salazar, D-Colo., and Lane Evans, D-Ill., lawmakers ask for a minimum of $630 million to be added to the supplemental for veterans programs, including $250 million for mental health services, $200 million for direct medical care, $110 million for prosthetics, $15 million for vocational rehabilitation and $55 million to increase the number of people processing disability claims.

I think our next Governor will be predicted by the influences of Former Gov. Hunt. His endorsement will have a huge influence on voters.
