Submitted by jimstaro on Sun, 11/11/2007 - 9:59am.Lets take a look at how a Country "Supports it's Veterans", a Country of citizens whose greater majority never serve in it's Military, a majority who never do much of anything of service to Country, a majority who don't even bother to Vote, and a majority who readily bitch about paying their contribution to it's Society, not about how that money is spent just that they have to Contribute.
Huge Defense Budgets means a Strong National Defense! At least one political party takes that Mocho stance.

Two NC Democrats; One fiddling while one tries to save the Union? You be the Judge.
Submitted by Marshall Adame on Sat, 10/27/2007 - 8:49am.In today’s N&O Under the Dome section there was two interesting, but separate stories about the activities of two Democratic Congressmen, Heath Shuler and David Price.
Now don’t get me wrong, I am not denigrating one, or the other, but it was interesting to see where the priorities of each were relative to the interest each devoted their time this week. I am an analyst by profession, so maybe I tend to see more than is actually there. Or do I?
