In a long discussion with Marshall Adame, he and I have decided that the best way I can serve his campaign is from the outside. There are many factors to this decision, none of which require public scrutiny.

I whole-heartedly support Marshall's candidacy and will work tirelessly from outside the campaign to ensure that he is elected as NC-03's next Congressman.

Join Marshall Adame at the Carteret County Democratic Party's cookout this Saturday, June 23rd at 2:30pm.

Also attending will be Jerry Meek, Chairman of the North Carolina Democratic Party and NC House Speaker Pro Tem William Wainright.

The 3rd Congressional District will hold its annual convention today at Charles B. Aycock High School in Pikeville, NC. Registration starts at noon, lunch (at Wilbur's BBQ) starts at 12:30 and the convention begins at 2pm.

Marshall Adame (candidate for NC's 3rd Congressional District) will be present, as will I.
