Open thread: Nate Luvs Hate

This from one of Nathan Tabor's columnists at the Conservative voice: Jeremy Meister.
Is Ann Coulter good for Conservatism? Someone who doesn't act ashamed of their ideology? Someone who stands up for what they believe in even when faced with hostile peer pressure? Absolutely. We need more people like her.
Just the kind of guys Duncan Hunter wants as part of his dead-on-arrival presidential campaign.
Update: Edited to be a kinder, gentler rant.
Quick Heads up (Open Thread)
Submitted by Blue South on Mon, 02/19/2007 - 6:36pmIn the N&O's Under the Dome today it was reported that Nathan Tabor has joined the presidential campaign of Duncan Hunter. For those that dont remember, Tabor's views on the UN make Jesse Helms look left of center.
Think of this as an open thread.

Fred Smith: For Whom Tabor Trolls
Submitted by gregflynn on Tue, 01/16/2007 - 6:51am
In recent days Nathan Tabor of The Conservative Voice has been spamming North Carolina blogs on behalf of Fred Smith State Senator and Gubernatorial Candidate. Tabor and Smith became enamored of each other last fall as Tabor describes in an effusive description that also belabors his own self-importance as a “blogger”. I caught up with this troll when he posted the entire text of a letter by Fred Smith “Time For Leadership on NC Budget” at exileonjonesstreet as a comment to an unrelated post with the plaintive cry:
Isn’t anyone in the NC blogosphere going to cover this subect? Am I the only one in NC to receive this in my e-mail?
No Nate. You are the only one sending this in your email.
Tabor and Honesty: The Continuing Divide (this time over RU-486)
Submitted by Lance on Sat, 02/18/2006 - 9:17amNC Senate candidate and 3rd-string Jesse Helms wannabe Nate Tabor still doesn't get the difference between an honest policy discussion and demagoguery. Today's opportunity to cherry-pick the facts and practice the politics of fear is provided by the North Carolina Conservative, where Tabor is found trying to make hay over the safety of the abortion drug, RU-486 (which is not the same thing as the morning after pill). At the heart of the polemic is the fact that the drug has been linked to several deaths (different sources vary, but the number is somewhere between 5 and 10).
Let's Try Telling the Truth About NC's Illegal Immigrant Population.
Submitted by Lance on Thu, 01/12/2006 - 12:09amWe all know that NC Republicans like scary stories about our Driver's License laws, particularly about how easy access means that terrorists are carrying ID cards. Never mind that there's no evidence that that's true. Never mind that the state legislature is already working on tightening license laws. Who needs facts when you've got ... Nate? Over at NC Rumors, Republican state senate candidate Nathan Tabor tries to increase the fear factor by relying on numbers that are just plain wrong. Some people might call that "lying," but the GOP's the party of honor, right?
Tabor Takes Another Swing
Submitted by Lance on Fri, 01/06/2006 - 3:16pmA guy named Nathan Tabor is running for NC State Senate. As Ed Cone says, "his reputation precedes him." I'll just add that I went to college with this guy, and a friend recalls that he "ran for student body president, launched this huge (by St. A[ndrews]'s standards) media campaign, and then was totally spanked by a girl who decided to run kind of on a whim." The Democrats, I guess, should be looking for that girl.
