Thank You BlueNC!

Thank You BlueNC!

We won Tuesday's primary !

Tuesday’s historic turnout is proof that our hopes and dreams of taking our District and our country back, is becoming a reality. But it isn’t that one person who stands as a candidate for office that makes the difference in any campaign. It is each and every one of you that give of your time, your talent, and your hard-earned money. Thanks to all of you here at Blue NC for your support and interest in our campaign.

I am humbled, and I am grateful.

This campaign isn’t about me. It’s about all of us working together to make our communities, our country a better place for all.

For all of our efforts, our primary win is just the beginning. We celebrate making it to the starting line, but I hope I can count on you again, to make it to the finish line in November as we work to retire Rep. Sue Myrick after 12 long years!

With all of my thanks,

Harry Taylor
Democratic Candidate for Congress, NC-09

And Helms begat Reagan...

Arguably, Ronald Reagan's Helms enabled win in the 1976 NC primary was all the encouragement he needed to try again in 1980, setting the stage for the Reagan Revolution and synergistic escapades like this one...

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
