I'm emailing this link to the politicians I know.

And, then to my friends and family.

Link not working.

Link not working.

Fixed it, thanks!

A brilliant logical argument, Robert!

On the way to NE relatives.

A Cooling Earth

One hole (supertanker-sized) in the whole thing.

If the earth is cooling due to decreased solar activity, doing these things lead to millions of deaths.

Another gigantic hole in the theory

is that since evolution isn't real and God will take care of all of us, that we'll soon be able to live in the desert planet we are creating, by the Grace of God.

Or, you can go along with that other wonderful evangelical opinion, that God wants us to take care of ourselves and he has planned it out so that Judgment Day will occur before a global cataclysm and only bad people will be left behind.

If that is what you want to bet on, then you are immune to the logic of this argument.

What "cooling" are you refering to?

From EPA's website:

Observations compiled by NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center indicate that over the past century, temperatures rose across the contiguous United States at an average rate of 0.11°F per decade (1.1°F per century). Average temperatures rose at an increased rate of 0.56°F per decade from 1979 to 2005. The most recent eight-, nine-, and ten-year periods were the warmest on record.

The figure from '79 to '05 is the "Oh sh**" number.

Person County Democrats

Incredibly Oversimplified

But good nonetheless.

I think that is definitely the point.

Because you can add as much detail as you want after the fact, but if you start with a basic acceptance of what the two extremes are, then tooling around in the middle doesn't really change much.

The Dark Side Chronicles

Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory says he wants to change the culture in Raleigh. I guess that's why he wrote this letter to PAC lobbyists asking for their fundraising help. Change you can believe in? Riiiiiiight. Join the conversation here.
