The Case FOR Biden and Clinton
Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton will more than likely be able to help Obama. They have both served in the Senate longer and have been in Washington since the early 1970s. Biden has been in the Senate since first elected in 1972 and Hillary served as part of the Watergate investigation team. Biden can beef up Obama's national security and foreign policy credentials. Biden and Clinton both serve on the Foreign Relations and Armed Services committees respectfully. However, Biden does have more of a resume than Hillary in terms of governmental expereinces verses overall experience. However Biden can get foot in mouth syndrome and Hillary can be foddder for the vast right wing conspiracy. But Biden can counter McCain's experience claim as Biden predates McCain by nearly twenty years.
Kaine, Sebeblius, and Richardson can't counter Obama's lack of a resume. Kaine and Sebeblius have not served outside of their home states while Richardson doesn't offer much against McCain as McCain has more. Richardson's experience can be summed up as being in the House for fourteen years over ten years ago, holding the Ambassadorship to the UN for even two years, and then serving as low level cabinet secretary for the last two years of the Clinton White House and representing the US at international meetings is hardly a lot of foreign policy experience. Then finally Evan Bayh is a good choice. But he could leave us losing a seat, especially if the incumbent Republican governor appoints a Republican after his re-election (which looks very likely). That's very much shooting ourselves in the foot. Plus no running mate has ever helped a presidential candidate pick up a state since Lyndon Johnson in the 1960 election.
Biden is my first choice and Clinton is the one I'm secretly rooting for.

C'mon
Wow, your ability to minimize the experience of anyone who isn't your preferred candidate is pretty astounding.
I mean...a man who served as a Congressman, UN Ambassador, Secretary of Energy and Governor "can't counter Obama's lack of a resume?" Richardson has as much experience as Biden and far, far more than Hillary Clinton has in public office.
At least try to make a more cogent argument.

There are people in every time and every land who want to stop history in its tracks. They fear the future, mistrust the present, and invoke the security of the comfortable past which, in fact, never existed. - Robert F. Kennedy
Well it was fairly cogent
Well it was fairly cogent until the very unpredictable Internet erased the entire thing. Richardson has experience yes. But he's not someone that I think a lot of people would gravitate to. He has experience, yes, but at the same time he can't beef up Obama's credentials nor help him stragetically in any way that I can see. Would I mind if he was on the ticket? No. Would I support him if it were? Yes. Do I think he's right for the ticket? No. Obama needs to make up MAJORLY where he lacks, not just in some small way.
