Who would have every thought Robert Pittenger

would visit BlueNC?

Where's Walter Dalton?

When you need him. Actually a Dalton campaign honcho lives two doors down. I need to get with him about BlueNC blogging, dead or alive.

Yes, you do

Robert Pittenger is just awful. If you show him the work you've done he might be open to coming here. We won't bite.

Yes, Ma'am

Thus spake the videographer.

I was ticked the live feed wasn't working

Video feed is still beta

I have yet to see a live video feed that is not buggy. Even a good feed on a TV site gets chopped up with buffering.

Well...my recording didn't work

but the interviewer asked me if I thought that North Carolina would vote Democratic in the general election and I said, "Yes, I do. I don't believe much in superstition, but the last time North Carolina had an important voice in the primary process was 1976 and that was also the last time North carolina voted for a Democrat in the general election, Jimmy Carter." He mentioned that Jimmy Carter was a Southerner and I replied, "Yes, but Barack Obama is a special candidate and the people of North Carolina recognize that."

Robin Anderson is closing in

I'm trying so hard to stay awake for that race. Two counties left to report in Mecklenburg and then Warren County has nothing reported in yet. That county could change everything.

I'm watching it too.

Mecklenburg partially reporting, and the difference is 2,452. Hm.

Good moring North Carolina Bloggers

Looks like we are going to have some beautiful Carolina BLUE skies today!

Yeah...but I covered the entire county for

three campaigns. It took me a few hours. Funny how much longer it took to put them out as I kept having to pull over on dark country roads marked eith rural route signs instead of road names and read a map in the dark by the overhead light in my car WITHOUT my reading glasses. That's why it took me until almost 4am to put them out. It took me a little over four hours to put them out and right at 3 hours to pick them all up.

Yeah - we coordinated all the signs at our county HQ

So each precinct was responsible for the signs for all the campaigns - that hadn't put them up already -which was everyone but Moore and Dellinger. So it was easy. We pulled up the ones that were out in other places on Monday night and had them all at the polling site by Tues. AM.

I called and they said nope

They will coordinate in the fall, but not in the primary. Oh well. I picked up everyone else's signs that were out and will drop them by HQ later. Almost every precinct is littered with Republican signs, but the Dem signs are all gone.

Moore had zero signs in Union County.

TrueMeckDem on Myers Park Pat

"My opinion of Pat has changed over the years. I used to think he was truly a man of the people but the longer he has been mayor, the less I think of him.

As with most cities, Charlotte has three political parties: Dem, Rep, and Chamber of Commerce. Pat is definitely the puppet of the COC here. What is good for business is good for Charlotte and Pat ... very personable guy, he has gotten a bunch of Dems in these parts to vote for him but I don't trust him."
