Today's Editorial Cartoons

It's my belief, completely unbacked by scientific evidence, that many people enjoy politcal cartoons even if they don't read the front-page stories on local and state politics. I think that is why editorial cartoons can be an important indicator of what people are seeing and hearing. Not just the MSM.
So, below the fold I'm going to give you some of today's editorial cartoons from Daryl Cagle's Professional Cartoonist Index.
First, the most right-wing cartoonist in America. Mike Lester from Rome.
Okay, now that we have that done.
The State, South Carolina's largest paper.
From a freelancer in New Jersey.
From Palm Beach, FL.
Our own Charlotte Observer.
Florida Today
Houston Chronicle.
All in all, every paper is running Editorial Cartoons that say:
1. Republicans are associated with a pedophile.
2. Republicans hid this information from the public and continue to try and hide it.
3. Republicans don't mean it when they say they are the party of moral values.

The Charlotte Observer guy
must be counting the days until he is fired. He has a pretty left-leaning, though close to neutral mind. No way are they going to stand for that.

but usually I really like his cartoons. Maybe it's time for me to say something nice.
