Triangle Dems For Larry Kissell October 28th in Fayetteville

Hey everyone! Guess we are down to the barbwire for the mid-terms are we not?

I bet everyone's looking for that extra way to help out our favorite local progressive candidates, outside of giving money and blogging support ;).

Well for those in the Triangle (& around), I have that gusto event youve been looking for. Join myself and many others when we carpool to Fayetteville, home of "the" electoral battle of the summer, on Saturday Oct. 28th to lend our unified support for Larry Kissell!!

What is on the docket for that day is an early and often literature drop till you drop before the day is done. Also using our powers to Get Out the Voters, as i call it, will be in full effect.

I personally will be providing my vehcile to transport as many people as I can with me to Fayetteville that day. I encourage all those with cars to join up and help recuit others who need help being transported!

More definite details will follow, but for now we are aiming to leave Raleigh at 8:00am on Saturday in order to give us ample time to arrive in the hot zone.

So please send me a message if your interested or leave a comment. Pass this on to everyone you know who wants to go that extra 100 miles for the Democratic Party this election year, and knows that this is the year we change America for a brighter future.

That's terrific. There will be canvassing going on in Charlotte too, but I think that I will be in Chapel Hill at the home of my hubby's wingnut friends to watch the Heels lose in football and just praying that I don't get baited into an argument. It happens every time.

I wanna go! I wanna lit drop and canvas!! I've never done it and I'm determined I'm gonna learn how, but it scares the livin' beJeeezus out of me to think of going out there alone the first time. Can you swing by Clayton on your way?

I'd be more than happy to have one part of the caravan stop in Clayton and pick you up. Tell you what, here's what we're gonna do: Tell me what works better for you/us convience, picking you up at home or at some sort of landmark? And then shoot me that address and number I could reach you at that day via message on BlueNC. Then when we get close to the 28th we'l make sure everythings kosher.

Would you like meet up at a specific meeting point in Fayetteville? I am not quite famaliar with the area however once I get a good headcount of how many people I have and cars, I can get the districts we need to cover from my contact. Then we could decide where to meet up!
