UPDATED: Konvoy 4 Kissell on November 4th!!

Thats right NC's-8th, we've got a Konvoy with your name on it.

And I want anyone from the Triangle on BlueNC to be there.

You might have remembered my previous post, Triangle Dems for Kissell, which actually did not go off due to scheduling conflicts.
However we are giving it another go this weekend, THE WEEKEND, for 2006 elections!

Here are the details:
-As many people sign up and I will coordinate drivers and riders. Currently we have a bunch brave souls.

-We will be meeting at the Main gate at the RBC Center in Raleigh on November 4th at 8am. Leaving around 8:15am.

-It is only an hour drive to Fayetteville, which means very little gas guzzling, in little traffic. We will meet up and recieve marching orders at Kissell HQ in Fayetteville.

-We will be canvassing and literature dropping (door 2 door) at only selected areas in Fayetteville to help GOTV (get out the vote) for the Nov. 7th election.

-You will not be put on the spot. You will not be asked to talk about issues if you do not want to. Just help Kissell's Camp get people informed & out to vote.

- Unless you like fighting Republicans, which you can then definitely do.

I urge any of you here to show your support for NC's challengers in some of the toughest races in the country. If you cannot do so with your pocketbook,
then please do so with your body.

Join us on November the 4th as we Konvoy for Larry Kissell and the whole state of North Carolina. It will be a day long remembered.

Brings back memories

I used to "convoy" from Camp Lejeune to Ft. Bragg at least once a quarter to go jump out of airplanes. Usually, I got to ride in a Jeep, but often it was the back of a six-by truck. And always wearing camoflauge utilities so no one at the Burger King would see us.

PS I won't be able to make the trip. I'm getting some surgery done on Friday morning and hope to be smoothly recurperating over the weekend.

I am in the Triangle and I'm happy to drive and participate. I can comfortably fit five passengers so if you have volunteers who need a ride, let me know.

I'll email you after I get class, just to make sure I have you on the list NCDem. And thank you for offering to drive & just straight up volunteer.

And I like that motto "GOTV for Kissell or BUST!". I may have to steal it from you.

The easiest way to fill up your car tho...is to bring some friends!! =) Spread the word!

Our children need to know that some people fought back, when others collaborated.
