Video clips show Perdue's position on education

Last week, I pointed out that easy-to-find newspaper articles over a long period showed that Lt. Governor Bev Perdue has long supported education, from pre-school all the way through college. (http://bluenc.com/perdues-consistent-support-for-education) In fact, nothing has ever disputed that until the television ad that has been running for the past week.

Then someone told me to check YouTube, the video website. I did, and I found more evidence there, from tv news reports and from speeches given by Perdue herself. I don't know how to put up the videos here to be watched, but I can give you the links to them:

Here, Perdue tells WLOS, everything comes back to education: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2ZxTJE8pTw .

And here, Perdue says children are the most important resource: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7H7SOa0csY .

And here, Perdue discusses building an educated workforce: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdpPCuwjgBw .

But here's the ad that questions her commitment to education: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1qbimjd9tc .

Unfortunately, the General Assembly's website does not show the voting records of all the legislators in the House that year. I looked, but I couldn't find out who else voted for the budgets highlighted in the tv ad.

One thing is clear, though. Plenty of evidence shows that Perdue has supported education for a long time, and apparently she still does.
