god doesn't seem to listen. And why would she? The president is a hate-filled tool of the Dark Side.

I just don't think that God even knows W's name..... ;\

No matter that patriotism is too often the refuge of scoundrels. Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.

that a right-wing tool like leno would have stood for that. i'm guessing that he'd never heard note one of conor oberst's music before holding up his albums and reading the intro off the tele-prompter. someone probably got fired for that.

a few people in the studio audience sounded appreciative of the song's sentiment, though. either that or they thought that conor oberst was cute.
