Who the heck are these people?
Here is an exact transcript of the letter. I hope it doesn't appear too blurry.
Dear NC General Assembly, Representatives and Senators,
We are against the North Carolina Home Tax, and ask that it will not be passed.
To pass this bill would be a breaking of God's law. Only God has the right to tax property because "the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof" (Psalm 24:1). There are already taxes in place that imply, by necessity, that the government owns the land and all living on it rather than the Creator. As soon as the government begins claiming that they own what, in truth, God owns, they are stealing from Him, and are tyrants. The Almighty does not bless this, and as a result the government's action destroys the economy, brings people not to care about the land (because, after all it's the government's to deal with), and encourages lawlessness in all the citizens.
The only tax that is right before God is the flat rate head tax (Exodus 30:11-16). This one tax will be blessed. Its purpose is to support the state in being the minister of God. It should be used to punish evildoers and to build a national defense against those who wish to harm lawful citizens. Every government, local to national is accountable to God because he instituted government itself. (Godly government: Romans 13:1-7; Ungodly government: Revelations 13).
In the service Christ and country,

Holy Head Tax, Flatman!
What about all that "render unto Caesar" stuff?
And how can you tax "heads?" Aren't they owned by god, too?
I think
They left those verses off at the end.
Oh, Jesus
The first sentence made me hurl.
Yeah. I'd like to know =
Who are these people and please would someone show them their rock so they can climb back under it.
What a twisted batch of bilge.
We don't live in Biblical times folks. That is relegated to history in case you didn't know. And Jewish people followed that law. Not Gentiles - so excuse me if you mind my saying - by your thinking I don't owe any tax at all.

Feel free to delete this if anyone is uncomfortable with it. I would say they are all 16-18 at this point. If you want me to delete or edit it don't reply to this comment but post a new comment so I can go back in.
I think God said interTube photos are A-OK
The first Biblical reference to bloggers (e.g., the roar of a great multitude).
Get Real -
II Corinthians 6:14-15 says: DO not try to work together as equals with unbelievers, for it cannot be done. How can right and wrong be partners? How can light and darness live together? How can Christ and the Devil agree? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? {More than you'd think - } Nope. No Homeschool reference there.
1 Timothy 2:11-12 says: Women should learn in silence and all humility. I do not allow them to teach or to have authority over men; they must keep quiet.
Okay. That's Paul speaking about teaching in the Temple. Not secular business. Paul had an attitude. Yeah, he got converted on the road to Damascus but you know - old habits are hard to break.
Personally - I prefer Proverbs 31: 10 - 31 which says:
How hard it is to find a capable wife! She is worth far more than jewels! Her husband puts his confidence in her and he will never be poor.
As long as she lives, she does him good and never harm. She keeps herself busy making wool and linen cloth. She brings home food from out of the way places, as merchant ships do.
She gets up before daylight to prepare food for her family and to tell her servant girls what to do. She looks at land and buys it, and with money she has earned she plants a vineyard. She is a hard worker, strong and industrious. She knows the value of everything she makes, and works late into the night.
Folks - the Capable Wife in Proverbs is the quintessential business woman. You can read it for yourselves.
These religious hijackers drive me insane. It wasn't enough to corrupt the government but when you try to hijack my God - watch out. It will be war.
Well, obviously
these kids hate property taxes, too. NC Assoc of Realtors LOOOOves property taxes. They're nuts.
Clarification ...
on the phrase, "They're nuts." This refers to the NCAR.
I propose another project for these young impressionable future voters ... Build us a business plan for running any NC county without property taxes. I predict it will look something like this...
