Who's Going to Yearly Kos?

Yearly Kos is an annual event bringing bloggers together from across the nation for a weekend of organizing, activism, networking, and progressive infrastructure building. The deadline to buy tickets in July 14 for the August 2-5 convention.
I've been asked to moderate the NC "caucus" and co-lead a regional gathering as well, so I'm asking the BlueNC community. Who's coming to Yearly Kos? You can respond here or use the BlueNC mail.
------
Yearly Kos: "An annual convention gathering people from all walks of life who belong to the Netroots community, the US-based (but globally focused and inclusive) non-partisan grassroots political action community that uses the Internet and blogs as primary tools for: expressing viewpoints, building consensus, acting to change the status quo, mobilizing huge numbers of people and informing each other and the world about current events, grassroots actions, networks, meetings, policy and more. The YearlyKos Convention is a project of bloggerpower.org with the generous support of the Netroots Arts and Education Initiative (NAEI)."
Organizers are still finalizing the convention's schedule, but you can get a pretty good taste for the thing by looking at what's already planned.
Presidential Candidates Obama, Edwards, and Richardson are scheduled attend, as is General Wesley Clark. I'm very excited to go and meet so many bloggers' whose writing I've admired for years. I'm thrilled to organize and network with a nation of progressive bloggers with action on their minds.
Have I talked you into coming yet? It's not too late to sign up.

Nope. 50 cents won't do it. Not this year.

Not going to Chicago for much the same reason as Unique.

Thanks for representing the Carolina Blues, Screwy
The hermit in me won't let me go, but I'll look forward to reading your fabulous reports! Be sure to put in a few plugs for BlueNC.
Anglico, I can't think of a better symbol for you

That is very fitting.
It would be quite interesting to develop an BlueNC tarot, I think. (I used to read tarot quite a bit, and somewhere around here have a blank deck made especially for creating one's own deck. Not being an artiste I've never done it.
On topic - I'd love to go to Yearly Kos, but work and family commitments keep me from it, as well as the elusive dollar.
I'll be in Houston then,
ugh, August in Texas, working. But next year count me in.
i'll represent as best I can
I just can't miss it, after going last year. It is hard to explain - in some ways, I was just a dopey blogger groupie - calling home to tell my husband, "I met emptywheel! teacherken helped me with my computer! hyperbolic pants explosion is a woman!"
Well, I really didn't say that because he didn't know what the hell I was talking about.
Still, I am a big hermit, too, anglico (have the meds to prove it) but just felt very comfortable, very postive there - so many good, good people, I just felt like the convention was a kind of cocoon where people really looked after each other, had fun, and dreamed up good ways to raise hell and change things.
Will be there
Went last year. Mental fireworks when I am around so many other people so excited about shared interests. Looking forward to it.

Be the Democrat you want to see.
I'll be there eventually.
I'll have votes on Friday, but I'm supposed to be on a panel on the middle class headed by bonddad. I would love to attend a caucus meeting.
This is my second attempt to post this comment. I think the site or my computer one has the hiccups.
Great seeing you in DC last week!
Thanks for stopping by!
As for YK, I have so many deadlines that week ... and YDA in Dallas is more important at this point ... if I even go to that.
