Dallas Woodhouse's stealth Tillis US Senate campaign ad

Which is really not that stealthy:

The question you should be asking, Tim, is where did Dallas get the $1.5 million to run this commercial?

$1.5 Million Effort Will Educate Parents On Speaker Tillis and Gov. McCrory’s Efforts To Implement Large Teacher Pay Raise And School Improvements

(Raleigh) As parents across North Carolina prepare to send their kids back to school, Carolina Rising today released a new statewide television ad to inform the public about efforts by Speaker Thom Tillis and Gov. Pat McCrory to dramatically increase teacher pay and improve North Carolina public schools through smart investments.

The ad states: “North Carolina’s schools represent our future. This year, Governor McCrory and Speaker Thom Tillis fought for and won, one of the largest teacher pay raises in state history. More money for starting teachers, and high-tech learning.”

This ad has nothing to do with "educating parents" and everything to do with pushing back against the Hagan campaign's ads about how the GOP has been dismantling public education in NC. And the media (if not the FEC) needs to crawl all over not-the-bus-driver for spending dark money in this fashion.

No, the big question is ...

Who's more delusional? McCrory or Tillis?

If Thom Tillis thinks it's a good idea to be associated with Pat McCrory, he's grasping at straws.

I may be wrong,

but I think the only reason McCrory is included in the ad is to provide "plausible deniability" that this is campaign-related spending.
