More Unfrickinbelievable hatred from right-winger in North Carolina

Once again, I feel I must point out the "logic" of the right-wing. Yes, Lance, your favorite - Ogre. Below is his take on how to handle the middle east.

Syria vs. Israel

While Syria continues to scream that if Israel attacks them, they will respond, they also continue to claim that they are already fighting:

as Syria's foreign minister I hope to be a soldier in the resistance

But don't worry, the "conflict" will all be over soon -- because the UN says so. Let's go see how Hezbullah's U.N. Representative feels:

...

Oh, right! Hezbullah doesn't have a seat on the UN! But hey, they're sure to listen to any "proclimations" from the UN -- just like Iran, right?

Folks, there is NO simply solution. The ONLY way to have "lasting peace" is to either surrender to the Muslims or kill them all. Period.

My wife was in the Peace Corps in a Muslim country and I visited her for a month. I can tell you that "Muslim" includes wonderful families that care about their children and family and don't give a crap about killing Jews. Not a whit. They are living their lives, just trying to get by, but no, Ogre thinks they should be killed, murdered, just because of their religion.

Imagine if someone said Christians should all be killed and murdered because of David Koresh, or Pat Robertson and his hatred, or the Klan!

We get Faux News stories everynight about a war against Christians just because people say Happy Holidays. There is no more "getting along" with the Republican party - they are immoral and they are evil. Spawns of satan like Ogre deserve our scorn and every ounce of our energy to defeat - not our conversation, not our bipartisan support on any issue! This is a war for the very soul of America, the question is whether you want a country based on anger, hatred, and immorality? You do? Then, vote for a Republican.

If you want a country where morality and logic reign, then vote Democratic.

I vote Dem....the party of Levelheaded Peacenicks!

When I get home, I have a link I'll bring back. Think it will be very appropriate here. Thanks for doing this post Robert, even if you aren't a senior citizen....

Song of Peace

This is a beautiful song, came off of Cindy Sheehan's website. We sing this at church often, but wonder how many REALLy listen to it.

Just to be clear...

I'm far from a peacenik. I think we are in the wrong country with Iraq. I think we should have put 1 million UN troops into Afghanistan, ended al Qaeda (you know, those guys that killed our babies on 9/11?), ended the warlords, ended the poppy growing forever, and then left.

If we were not in Iraq, if we had stabilized Afghanistan and left, then perhaps we would have a leg to stand on in this whole Israel/Lebanon fiasco. As it is, we don't.

Robert

I couldn't agree more. We are fighting the wrong war. And 5 years after winning the war in Afghanistan, we are starting to let it slip away. Why, exactly, are we having to fight the Taliban again?? W took his eye off the ball.

Good Lord

Kill them all or surrender. This is how the Far Right, Pro-War militant Bush Republicans sees the rise of terrorism. Their first instinct is to kill the problems with bombs and bullets. The rest of us first think of solving the problems with creativity and consensus.

Hezbollah terrorists are going to continue to seek the eradication of Israel. Iran will do the same. But blowing up the middle east makes diplomacy impossible and makes creative problem solving an impossibility.

Two words... Neutron Bomb. Enough said.

Amazing that only a few bloggers have the balls to say what needs to be said, And DONE ASAP!
I hear the idiots in Washington have already bought their prayer rugs and are importing camels as we speak.

Obviously not me. Amazing that only a few bloggers share the feelings that an entire race and religion should be wiped off the face of the earth because of the acts of a few religious fanatics. Again, they should distance themselves from the good Christian clinic bombers before making that argument.

Thanks for stopping by!

I think Israel knows this -- and they know they cannot nuke the Muslims out of existence. So I think Israel's plan is to simply push the Muslim terrorists back to the point where they won't be able to attack Israel for a few years so Israel can have a few years peace. Then the cycle will start over again.

Stupid hippie liberals. They think we can all just hold hands and sing Kum-Bah-Ya and then everyone will get along. You certainly angered the hippies over at BlueNC:

http://www.bluenc.com/node/3272

Well if there is one consolation, if we do have to surrender to the Muslims, it will be the hippie liberals who get slaughtered first. All the rest of us hate-mongering, gun totin' conservatives will be too busy defending our families while the hippies are being picked off one by one while they're riding their bikes and picking daisies in the pasture.

Ah, our own Rachel Hunter obsessed f**knut, The Reckoning. oooooooooh, tough name.

Let me tell you something Reckoner, it was your numbnuts President that allowed the Muslims to attack us in the first place. He was asleep on the job, he was worrying about Saddam when he should have been listening to those who are paid to know. They said "Osama bin Laden determined to strike in inside US". He said, "How can we go about attacking Saddam?"

It's Unfortunate

that people would make crass generalizations on either side of the fence

Judging people vs. judging People

Justin,
There is a big difference between judging a group of people based on their actions, and judging people based on their race, religion, or ethnicity.

Oh Darn, I've been banned by Ogre.

Someone go post this for me:

Ogre said:
They honestly believe that everyone is good.

about what I said:

based on what Ogre said:
Folks, there is NO simply solution. The ONLY way to have "lasting peace" is to either surrender to the Muslims or kill them all. Period.

Points:
1. Ogre is a liar, naturally.
2. I never said all muslims are good.
3. Not all Christians are good, so does he support killing them all?
4. If not all muslims are bad, then why does he want to kill them all?
5. Because he's immoral.

p.s. to Reckoning

this just goes to show what a complete and utter Kool-Aid drinker your friend Ogre is. He's so afraid of a real debate that he boots people with any knowledge whatsoever. Watch what you say or else he might kick you off - but don't worry, we'll allow you to make your case here. Because we're Democrats that believe in democracy, not cowardly Republicans that live and die by talking points.

Or lies dressed up

as truth (you know with something shiny, so the barracudas will bite! aahhhh, HOOKED!)

I thought about doing this for you

and decided to be your friend and refrain. While it might be fun, there's no point in engaging with lunatics. I used to do that at Red State and eventually found myself so depressed that I wanted to blow up all the Tubes.

(NOTE TO SS: This comment about Tubes is not a threat and was only a day dream about the hazards of the Internets. I am not part of your latest Red Alert public relations bullshit scam.)

true enough.

And, I thank you for it.

I haven't let a troll get to me in some time, but this guy's out and out lies followed by his banning of me because I called him on it...

Alright, I hereby quit interacting with the Ogre. I'll even delete the bookmark, right now, click.

Very great, Robert.

Congratulations.

It's his loss ... and he deserves every loss he can get.

Robert, my mom, who use to be quite an activist

has gotten dumb and lazy in her old age. She just forwards all these stupid, bigoted articles. Most of the time I just delete them, but when she sent one that said "Can a Good Muslim be a Good American?", i had to answer. So, although this may be longish....here it is (btw, I did a reply to all so that all her Republican friends would get this and read it too. Oh, a number of her friends wrote me and thanked me for this!)

Mom,

Do you remember Jim Jones and Guyana? The Reverend Jim Jones was so charismatic, that his followers would do anything they were told. In 1978, he told them to feed a koolaid concoction to their children and then themselves, which they did. It was spiked with poison and 918 people died.

Mom, I'm asking you, "Please don't drink the koolaid!"

If you put these very same standards to Christians here in America, they too would fail.

Theologiacally - no . Because their allegiance is to Jesus, the "Son of God"

Religiously - no. Because no other religion or God is accepted. (Exodus 20:3 & 34:14)

Scripturally - no. Because God calls all Christians to be "faithful" to him. (Joshua 24:14 "Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness." 1 Samuel 26:23 "The Lord rewards every man for his righteousness and faithfulness." What is allegiance....faithfulness! By the way, the five pillars of the Quran are:faith, prayer, concern for the needy, self-purification, and the pilgrimage to Makkah for those who are able. (Do these intimidate you?)

Geographically - no. Because Christians swear faithfulness to their God in Heaven.

Socially - This one is a lie, Islam DOES NOT forbid them from making friends with anyone, much less with Christians or Jews! (More koolaid - step away!)

Politically - Another lie, they may submit to a Mullah, but only the radical Mullahs teach annihilation of Israel and America (do not put that cup to your mouth!) The Quran, like the bible teaches peace and love, if you would just expand your mind, maybe check out some books on Islam, you would understand more and not be subject to bigotted emails intended to scare you into voting a certain way!)

Domestically - Come on, how many "good" Christians divorce and re-marry? How many "good" Christians beat their wives and children?

Intellectually - Another lie.....Muslims have been even clearer about the kinship among all "peoples of the book." As Miles notes (in slate online): Muslims battled those who worshipped false gods, beginning with the Arab polytheists of Mecca and Medina, but they officially tolerated Jews and Christians because they understood the latter to be worshipping the one true God, the God or, in Arabic, Allah.

Philosophicaly - If every muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic, why are we in Iraq trying to establish Democracy?

Spiritually - The Christian God is loving and kind, but what about the Christian? How many wars have been started in "God's" name? How many have been slaughtered in "God's" name? Our God is a loving God, but are we? And who would Jesus bomb? What does Islam say about war? Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not transgress limits. God does not > transgressors. (2:190)

Therefore, be not bigotted and unlearned in your beliefs, for ours is a loving God, who judges with a double-edged sword.

If you find yourself intellectually in agreement with the above statements, then I am proud of you! Perhaps you will share this with your friends and stop being afraid of people who believe differently than you do. The more who understand this, the better it will be for our country and our future. AMEN!

what did your mom say?

just out of curiousity.

Well, it's been a month, so far

and I haven't heard from her. She's probably mad at me for making her look like an a** in front of her friends. I just couldn't resist!

To The Credit of BlueNC

I haven't been banned - yet.

It's unfortunate that he did that. I've disagreed with him on immigration; but didn't get banned. You must have really got him wound up.

Yet?

We could arrange that.

A

PS Just kidding, of course. As far as I know, we've not banned any registered user in the history of the site and don't intend to. While I almost always disagree with what you have to say, I generally welcome your comments.

Banning

*chuckle*

I had to ban a commenter on my site a while back and it's no fun.

In my mind

as long as you are making arguments, even if I horribly disagree with them, then you shouldn't be banned.

If I can't counter your arguments with facts and instead turn to he said/she said commentary, then you've won.

Ogre probably banned me

I've never been back after schooling him on his weak facts in a rant piece he wrote about UNC. He took the wounded widdle ogre route and I didn't even use any bad language. His lack of factual backup on his argument (and for the life of me, I can't remember what it was) made his points...um...pointless.
