Ruh-roh. Kissell has a challenger. Sort of.

From da Dome.

Huddleston, a Republican and retired Army colonel, launched his campaign today to unseat Kissell, a Biscoe Democrat who was elected last year. Kissell defeated Republican former Rep. Robin Hayes. In a news release, Huddleston said he wants to focus on the concerns of working families in North Carolina.

"Times are tough for everyone," he said in the release. "It is time to stop the silly partisanship, the political blame games, and the outrageous spending and get down to the basics of doing what’s right for the American people."

I'm trying to be nice here, but what the heck is Huddleston talking about? Larry is about the least likely person in Washington to be involved in "silly partisanship" and "political blame games." Does Huddleston even know who he's running against?

Ruh-roh.

He has idea what is running for? That is why he is just another Tea Bag War Mongering Republican lost in Internet space!

Thank you Lord

For a little motivation :)

Military experience

People outside of Fayetteville won't know him. The military experience still has appeal to southerners and he'll be well coached by republicans seeking revenge. Now we know him. Will he have to get past a primary or is this the one?

I agree with you, James.

I agree with you, James. Kissell has been fairly moderate and not done much anyone could go negative on him for. But, such is the ugly side of politics. If you're going to campaign on what a nice guy your opponent is then there's not much point in you running against him in the first place.

I think we should all vote for him

After all he just said he would "...get down to the basics of doing what’s right for the American people". I mean, wow. Just wow.
