Sorry, don't mean to get your hopes up. I don't have tickets available. Just letting you know that this year's festivities may be viewed online. They will be webcast from the White House web site.
You may also purchase the commemorative White House Easter Egg.
This year’s souvenir Easter egg is the ‘greenest’ egg in history. The 2009 souvenir egg is made in the United States from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified hardwood. FSC certification means that the wood comes from environmentally and socially sustainably managed forests. More information about the egg and packaging was released earlier this week. The egg can be found at www.whitehouse.gov/eastereggroll.
I never realized how much went into putting together the traditional Easter Egg Roll festivities. Is this typical or is this expanded from years past? Anyone know? If it is expanded from years past it could be a result of having young kids in the White House. So...Yay for Malia and Sasha!
