BlueNC

BlueNC is an independent website committed to progressive politics in North Carolina. Other than being registered Democrats, site owners have no formal affiliation with the North Carolina Democratic Party. BlueNC is a private business and receives no funding from any government or nonprofit organization.

Some of the content on BlueNC is satire, humor and fiction. In all fiction, the figures portrayed are fabrications in every sense and do not represent any actual people or corporations (which are also people) in any way, shape, or form.

Registering is easy, but does involve a manual process. Because we receive so much spam, we actually authorize each individual new user. Within a day after you sign up, you'll receive an email notification activating your account.

Feel free to write or post whatever you want. Use the "create" button above (you'll see it when you register) and start writing. You never know what difference you might make.

If you have a problem with what someone else writes, the best course of action is to comment on what you see. If you're uncomfortable with that, contact the person directly by clicking on the person's screen name and send a message.

We have a tradition of blocking behavior only when it rises to the level of intolerably obnoxious. Our aspiration? Do good, be nice, have fun. It's harder than you think.

If you are interested in helping out, let us know. Thanks.
